P4 and P7 (AC)--DGP; Students took a pretest on prepositions. As part of the Embracing the Dream unit, we began examining MLK's "I Have a Dream Speech." We listened to a recording of him giving his speech while reading the text. http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/mlkihaveadream.htm This will serve as the basis of our work the rest of the week. HW--Reread the Dr. King's speech. Either underline or highlight phrases that "speak" to you. Do not underline/highlight more than 5 words in a row. Due tomorrow.
P3, P5, and P6--DGP; Students took a pretest on prepositions. They then began learning the words to the song on prepositions. HW--Study the words to the preposition song. Quiz will be next Wednesday (1/18).
