Review work: Workbook Page 56 and 57 (you may write in spiral.... Most are short cuts)

Today we saw powerpoint and a video about Similar Figures and how you can use proportions to find the missing measurement. It is section 7-4 in your textbook.
Homework: Similar Figures worksheet: show all proportions in spiral.
Palace window: show all proportions in your notebook. Some of these answers may need rounding.
Quiz Friday as stated before. No help session Thursday. See you tomorrow! Good luck.

Tests were returned today. Some students need to go over their test at home. Copies of the test were sent home with the solutions to the problems.
Today we continued to set up proportions from word problems. HW Bumpy Airplane( show all five steps and use calculator) and the Baseball worksheet.... Don't show any work. Use shortcut: Equivalent Fractions and reducing fractions to find the missing number in the proportion.
Help session: 8:20
There will not be a help session on Thursday.

Tests will be returned on Monday. A few students were asked to come in for help on Monday morning to go over their test. Please remember if you were asked to come.
Homework: practice 9-3 (1-20) Use short cut when you can. Show steps when needed.
