Assignments for May 19 to May 23

In class today I returned your economy quiz - if you had not gotten it back - and your GA calendar.  I have entered all grades into I Parent.  You may want to check your grade before tomorrow when it is closed out.  In class today, I gave out an index card (your security blanket) for you to take notes on to take into your final exam.  PLEASE put your name on the card.  I will not see classes regularly again until Thursday afternoon with the exception of the Class 3 study period.  If you have any questions, please come by and see me so we can get that cleared up.  Remember, your exam is Thursday morning.  Bring your card with you! 

ADDENDUM: MAY 14 -16

Please bring your text to class on Thursday - I will do a check for damages and then return it to you.  If you have pencil marks in your book, please try to erase them before Thursday.  You may keep your text until after the final exam.  You are responsible for the first eleven items on your review sheet for class tomorrow.  BIG REMINDER:  YOUR CALENDAR PROJECT - DONE IN CLASS - IS DUE AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF CLASS ON FRIDAY.  YOU WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO WORK ON IT OR PUT IT TOGETHER ON FRIDAY MORNING.

May 12 to May 16 2006

Monday - all classes went to the lab to take the post assessment of the technology test.  Any "left over" time was spend working on calendars.

Tuesday - the first half of class will be spent talking about the final and beginning a review.  The last half will be for working on the calendars.

Wednesday - a repeat of Tuesday!

Thursday - all review work!  A quick reminder - your calendar must be ready to turn in when you come to class on Friday.  PLAN AHEAD.

Friday -  Present and then turn in your calendar at the very beginning of class.  The rest of the class period may be spent on reviewing for the test.

Schedule for morning work:  Tuesday - 8:30, Wednesday - I have a meeting until 8:45, Thursday - 8:20, Friday - I have a meeting until 8:45 (I will have supplies put away - you are to be completely finished when you come to class.)

FINAL EXAM - THURSDAY, MAY 22 FROM 9:15 TO 11:05

Assignments for May 5 to May 9, 2008

The Civil Rights Timeline was turned in on Monday.  All classes began work at that time on a calendar project that covers all of GA history - this is also the beginning of the review for the final exam.  The due date for the calendar project is May 16.  This will be a test grade.  You will receive your final exam review sheet the beginning of next week.  Your final exam is Thursday morning, May 22.

Assignments for May 1 and 2, 2008

We worked on our Civil Rights Timeline in class today.  Please remember that your completed timeline is due at the beginning of class on Monday.  Please remember to attach a rubric to the back of the timeline and be sure that your names are included on the back of the timeline as well as on the rubric.  Have a wonderful week-end!
