You were given an outline for the first part of CH 11:3 and an organizer for Georgia's New Deal governors.  We went over the outline in class and the organizer is due on Monday.  We also saw pictures of some murals that were painted by Depression era artists in post offices around Georgia.  Tomorrow we will be looking at photographs from this time.  The last half of class was spent in assigned groups writing a skit to explain how the New Deal policies influenced the life and economy of Georgia families.  I will be in my room at 8:15 on Friday if you need to come in and work on anything.

Assignments for Wednesday, March 19, 2008

At the beginning of class we checked homework (outline).  We then watched a PowerPoint and filled in a sheet from the presentation - thank you, Mr. Stanley, for sharing this with us.  We then divided into small groups and worked on sentence frames for this section.  If not finished in class, these are due tomorrow.  Also, you have a quiz tomorrow on chapter 10 - you will not have a test on this chapter.  Review the outlines that I gave you, be sure to go over the vocabulary, reread any sections that you feel unsure about, and go over the sheets that we did today in class.  If you will miss class tomorrow because of band, I will be here in the morning at 8:15 if you would like to come in and take the quiz - if you can't be here on Thursday morning, I will be in on Friday morning also.
