Well, I know that it has been a very busy week for you all! I've missed being there with you. Enjoy your time with Mrs. Mason, and work as hard for her as I will on my rehab! I'm a one-handed typer and walk with a cane, so everything I do takes extra effort. I am talking with the teachers to stay up with your work, so good luck to you! Enjoy your weekend. Ms. Vickery
Today was our last class together before final exams. We have prepared as we should....a bit at a time. I hope you have followed my study suggestions. Since I fly to Germany tomorrow AM for my son's wedding, I won't be back to sign yearbooks or give hugs...my favorite activities of the last week. I'll probably send one last post after I return next week. It has been a good year...even a great one for some of you. Take care, and have a safe summer! Keep in touch and let me know of your future success.
Today we began class by watching an interview with Miep Gies. Then we related the vocab list to the play itself. It was a good review for the final exam. Tomorrow you will turn in the books. Study the play portion of the final for tonight's assignment.
We finished reading/listening to the play today in class. As usual, I teared up as it ended; such senseless loss of life for so many---Anne was one of over 1,000,000 children who lost their lives---causes me grief everytime we read. Tonight you are to take notes on scenes 4 & 5 and complete the vocab connections. Tomorrow you are to bring both books to class to turn in. As we finish the discussion of the play, you will have all you need...with your notecards, too...to study very successfully for the final.

What a pleasure it has been to read your family stories or research! I enjoy learning from my students as much as I enjoy teaching. Today we listened to the first 3 scenes of Act II. Tonight you are to work on the vocab connections and answer the questions from the new worksheet for the act. Hopefully, we will finish listening to the play tomorrow.
