Alp-La and LA - Everyone needs to be securing a copy of "The Pearl" by John Steinbeck. I have class copies; however, you need one for home, too. Call before you go to Borders; they should be getting more copies by Wednesday. We will begin in class tomorrow.
ATTENTION 2nd Period!!!!! I will not be meeting with you tomorrow. Come to class on Wednesday prepared with the grammar worksheet given to you today. You will be attending an informational meeting about Walton resgistration during 2nd period.
Today all classes watched a video on "The Perfect Pearl". If you were absent see me for a replacement assignment.
ALP-LA and LA - REMEMBER: Monday we start The Pearl by John Steinbeck. You should have a copy that you bought, borrowed, or checked out from the library.
Also, both classes are reviewing parts of speech, parts of the sentence, and identifying sentence types. Be prepared for quizzes and a test on this material beginning next week. Use notes, worksheets, grammar workbook, DGP's to prepare.
ALP-LA and LA - Greeting to ALL of you from London. No sightings of Paul McCartney yet!! HA!!! I do miss all of you though and hope that you are all doing well. Mrs. Pearce should be able to answer all of your questions. I will certainly settle any unanswered questions when I return.
