Thursday 4/28/11

We completed the video today.  on your own, collect any further data you need to complete the project.  You have until Monday to finish data collection.  We will begin the next phase of the project on Monday.  The students took the Einstein quiz today.  Make-up:  Wednesday morning at 8:40 in my classroom.

REMINDER:  Wave quiz tomorrow.

Wednesday 4/27/11

Wave flash cards were checked today.  The students took a Directed Reading quiz.  Make-up:  Wednesday May 4th at 8:55 in my classroom.  Students continued their work on Einstein's Big Idea.

Tuesday 4/26/11

We began the Einstein Project today.  The students began their information gathering today.  It will continue through Thursday.  REMINDER:  It is essential that you are here every day during the project.  (If you need to watch some part of the video again, it is available on youtube.  Search for Einstein's Big Idea from NOVA and PBS)  Directed Reading and flash cards should be completed by Wednesday.

Monday 4/25/11

Students completed Friday's lab with the data they gathered at home over the weekend.  They also worked on the Directed Reading and flash cards for waves.  Both assignmnets must be completed by wednesday.  There will be a wave quiz on Friday.  We begin the Einstein's Big Idea Project on Tuesday.  We will collect data Tuesday - Thursday.  The project will be completed early next week.  It is essential that you are here for every day of this project.

Friday 4/22/11

The students completed a light wave lab today.  The make-up work is attached to today's blog for those that were not in class.

Wednesday 4/20/11

The students continued to work on the Directed Reading and flash cards.  Be prepared for tomorrow's sound lab.

Tuesday 4/19/11

Students were given time to work on the Directed Reading for the Wave Unit.  Work will continue in class on Wednesday.  Work will not be due until next week.

CRCT week is over!  Back to a regular class schedule on Tuesday.  Come to class on Tuesday prepared to continue our work on waves.
