Each student received a Chapter 18 study guide. We concluded our discussion of Chapter 18 Section 1. Each student read Section 2 and we discussed it. Make flash cards. Complete Section 2 of the Directed Reading.
We watched a piece of video that introduced magnetism. (The students read Chapter 18 Section 1 on Friday.) Complete Section 1 of the Chapter 18 Directed Reading (attached). The assessment for Chapter 18 will be on Friday, April 1st. The voluntary review for it will be on Thursday morning at 8:20.
Today was the Chapter 17 Test. Make-up: Wednesday, March 30th, at 8:15 in Ms. Roth's room. The test was short so the students also had time for the Directed Reading check. Make-up: Tuesday morning at 8:55 in my classroom. After the test the students read Chapter 18 Section 1. Anyone that did not complete Energy #1 CRCT/Final Exam Review (attached) at school must complete it for homework. Due on Monday.
The Chapter 17 Directed Reading was turned in. If the virtual elctricity activities were not turned in on Wednesday, they were turned in today (in 1st, 2nd, 3rd periods - 6th and 7th turns them in on Friday). We reviewed for Friday's Chapter 17 Test.

The Chapter 17 flash cards were checked. Tuesday's lab was turned in. The students completed 4 virtual electricity activities (attached). Any work not completed in class should be completed for homework. Due on Thursday. (EXCEPTION: Sixth and seventh period had their work time interrrupted by the play. Your work is due on Friday. This applies only to 6th and 7th period.)
Friday's assignment (chapter and section reviews) was turned in today. Students completed a virtual circuits lab on computers. If you did not complete it in class, do so for homework.
Each student completed a reading check over Chapters 16-17 in the CRCT workbook. Make-up: Wednesday 8:55 AM in my classroom. Each student completed an activity sheet on elctric charges. Together we completed Energy #2 CRCT/Final Exam Review (attached). This review will help the students get ready for the computer lab on Tuesday and Wednesday, and for the Chapter 17 Test that is on Friday.
REMINDER: The voluntary extra review for the Chapter 17 Test will be on Thursday morning at 8:20. The voluntary CRCT Review will be on Friday morning at 8. Hope to see you all there!
Read and HIGHLIGHT Chapters 16 and 17 in the CRCT workbook. Answer all questions between pages 121 and 134. You will have a reading check on Monday. Complete the CRCT/Final Exam Review Forces and Motion #2 if you did not complete it at school. Due Monday. In your textbook do the Section Reviews at the end of Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Chapter 17. Also complete the Chapter Review at the end of Chapter 17. Complete all questions in both assignments. Due on Tuesday.
