Monday 2/28/11

Today was high school registration.  The students worked in their CRCT workbooks, reading Sections 1-5 and completeing all questions within the reading and at the end of each section.

Friday 2/18/11

Chapter 6 Test was today.  Make-up:  March 2nd at 8:10 AM in Ms. Hynes' classroom. Chapter 6 Directed Reading quiz was today (except for 1st period).  Make-up:  March 1st at 8:50 AM in my classroom.  First period will take it on the 28th (No studying required!).

Wednesday 2/16/11

1st, 6th, 7th period - Flash cards were checked.  We worked practice problems together and went over some homework. 

2nd, 3rd period - Lab today.  Make-up topic:  Law of Conservation of Momentum.  Complete the practice problems for homework.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Today we discussed Sections 2 and 3.  Demos were performed in order to demonstrate each of Newton's Laws.  Be prepared for Tuesday's lab.  Chapter 6 Test is on Friday.  Let's be ready!

Complete the Laws of Motion activity pages and the Newton: Forces in Motion activity pages.  Read Section.  Make your own notes.  Do the Section 3 flash cards and Directed Reading.  Chapter 6 Test is on February 18th.

We discussed the section 1 notes.  We did the Mth Focus activity on page 151.  We did the reinforcement worksheet.  Read Section 2. Make notes.  Make flash cards.  Do the Section 2 Directed Reading.

Wednesday 2/9/11

Each student read Chapter 6 Section 1 and created their own set of notes.  Make flash cards.  Each student should have picked up a Chapter 6 study guide.  Complete the Section 1 Directed Reading.  Chapter 6 Test will be on February 18th.
