WEEKLY CRCT REVIEW

Beginning on Friday, February 6th I will be holding weekly reviews for the Science CRCT until the CRCT is given in April.  These reviews will begin at 8:00 AM and will be held in the Media Center.  The review will conclude at 8:50.  Review handouts will be distributed with all questions answered by me during the review.  The review handouts that are to be covered during these morning review sessions are the same ones that will be used as study guides for the comprehensive final exam you will take at the end of 4th quarter.  Come on down and join your fabulous fellow students each Friday morning as we get ready to amaze ourselves with our Science mastery!

Congratulations, this is the last day of your middle school career!  You guys have been great!  Good luck in high school.

Final exams.  No Science class.

Tuesday 5/19/09

The Science exam will be given on Wednesday morning.  There will be a voluntary review session on Wednesday morning at 8 AM.  By now all students should have either given me their Science book or paid the fines associated with the loss of the book or damage to the book.

Monday 5/18/09

Reviewed for Wednesday's Science exam.

Friday 5/15/09

No class due to Field Day.  Study this weekend.  Be ready for that final exam on Wednesday!

Thursday 5/14/09

Blurt review.  Make-up topic:  The 2 Types of Wave Interference.

Wednesday 5/13/09

Each student participated in the Challenge Review today.  It counted as a lab grade.  Make-up topic: The 3 Types of Waves.  By the time you come to class on Thursday make sure that you have completed Monday's review handout.  We will be reviewing for a lab grade again on Thursday, so STUDY!

REMINDER:  The final exam will be on the morning of Wednesday, May 20th.  There will be a voluntary review session starting at 8 AM that morning.

Tuesday 5/12/09

We continued our review for the final exam.  Be ready for the Group Challenge tomorrow.  This counts as a lab grade.

Monday 5/11/09

We began our review for the final exam.  The students should be using the CRCT Reviews in the INFO section of their notebook as study guides.  Each student was also given an additional review today in class, which we began together.  By the time you come to class on Tuesday make sure that you have completed up through the questions on electricity.  For those that were absent, the review is attached to today's blog.  Download REVIEW #2

REMINDER:  The Science final exam will be during the morning session on Wednesday, May 20th.  There will be a voluntary review session before school at 8 AM on that morning.

Friday 5/8/09

Students completed the Einstein's Big Idea project.  Anyone that was absent should complete the project on their own at home.  On Monday we will begin our review for the final exam, which is on Wednesday, May 20th.

REMINDER:  Please bring in the $1 payment to cover the cost of mailing your report card.  Place the money in the payment envelope that you were given in homeroom.  Place the envelope in the black box in the 8th grade commons.  Thanks!
