6th Grade:  WS "Shopping" and "6-6 Practice" on percent of change.  Test on Friday on all the work we've done on percents.

Math 7/8:  WS "Writing Equations" #1-36 odds.  Write work out in detail in your notebooks.  Quiz on Friday on graphing equations, slope, and writing equations.

Math 7/8:  Green workbook page 90 and red workbook pages 33 and 34.  Test tomorrow on functions, sequences and series.

6th Grade:  WS "Riddle Math".  I will also be available at 8:15 tomorrow if you want to come in and work with the pattern blocks.  This is not required but you will have only about 15 minutes in class to finish your design and percent questions.

6th Grade:  Solve the "Transformation Treasure Hunt".  Test on percents next Friday, Jan. 27.

Math 7/8:  Read the material in the packet about the function formula.  Then do WS 9.2-- Do #1 - 32 but omit #9.  You do not need to read or do the material on series yet.  Unit test on Functions and Arithmetic Sequences next Friday, Jan. 27.

6th Grade:  WS "Percentage Points" both sides. Also WS "Follow that Transformation" which is the last page of the worksheet packet on symmetry; remember, this page is your work copy.  Then you write the 5 directions neatly on a sheet of loose leaf paper which you will give to another student to solve.

Math 7/8:  Green workbook 13-1 and Red workbook 4-6.
