6th Grade:  finish the worksheets on circle graphs.  You may use a calculator for find the percents and the measure of the central angles.  Then complete the graphs.

Math 7/8:  Finish the worksheets on Box and Whisker plots.

Advanced Math 7:  Coach Chapter 4: pages, 129, 133, 137, 141, 145, 149, 154, 158, 163.  This is a long chapter.  It is better to do these problems carefully to find out what you really know than it is to rush through and get a lot wrong.  So, if you don't finish, I would rather you do a good job.  Do what you can but you should certainly be able to do through page 145.  Check your answers here so we can use our time to focus on areas of difficulty:  Download Coach Answer Key for Lesson 4

6th Grade:  WS "Doctor" on circle graphs (for 4th and 5th periods only).  You do not need to do the actual graph, just calculate all the values in the chart.  If you want a head start on the rest of the packet, you may go ahead and fill in the values on the other sheets but remember that your priority is to review for the test tomorrow on direct variation.  I will also be collecting the direct variation worksheets tomorrow.  Help session tomorrow at 8:15.

Math 7/8:  WS 3-6 on Box and Whisker Plots.  You also have a test on graphing linear equations tomorrow that takes priority.  We will return to Box and Whisker on Thursday.

Adv Math 7:  Coach workbook pages 66, 71, 75, 80, 85-89.  You should also have completed pages 35, 39, 43, 47, 51, and 55-59.  We will check all of this on Thursday.  Your priority tonight is to prepare for the test on graphing linear equations.

6th Grade:  CRCT workbook pages 67-72.  Test on Wednesday on Direct Variation.  If necessary, rewrite the solutions to the worksheet on direct variation word problems.  You were required to define x and y, find k, write the equation, and then use the equation to find the answer to the question.  Do this on loose leaf to be submitted.

Adv Math 7:  Coach workbook pages 66, 71, 75, 80, 85-89.  Test on Wednesday on linear graphing.       Help session tomorrow at 8:15.

Math 7/8:  WS on transformations.  Test on Wednesday on linear graphing.

Math 6/7:  CRCT workbook pages 61-66. Also do problems 2-6 from the worksheet on direct variation word problems. Remember that if you have extra time, you can always use usatestprep and practice with some of the games.  Test on direct variation on Wednesday, March 30.

Math 7/8:  Go to usatestprep and spend 30 minutes practicing.  Bring in one problem which you had trouble with which might be worth our time to discuss in class.  Print it out or copy it into your notebook.  Test on linear equations next Wednesday, March 30.

All classes:  Reminder that tomorrow is the last day for the Coin War to benefit Relay for Life.  Bring your donations and put them in the appropriate jar.  

Also...get report cards signed and return any other papers as necessary.

6th Grade:  CRCT workbook pages 55-60.  Next Wednesday, test on direct variation.

Adv Math 7:  Finish your "Graph Gallery" WS if you did not hand it in today. Do #1-24 on WS "Writing Linear Equations".  Test next Wednesday on everything we've covered on linear equations and graphing.

Math 7/8:  Finish your "Graph Gallery" WS if you did not hand it in today.  Do the evens on the WS "Linear Graphing 2".
