6th Grade:  Unit test next Tuesday, Oct. 2 on divisibility patterns; prime, composite, abundant, deficient and perfect numbers; prime factorization, GCF, LCM and applications of both.  Remember to use your worksheets as study guides.

7th Grade:  Design your own number trick, write it up, and be prepared to do it for the class next week.

                   Write test corrections on a sheet of loose leaf and attach to your test and get it signed.    Do not write on the original test.

6th Grade: Finish the worksheet on applications of GCF and LCM

                 Unit test next Tuesday, Oct. 2 on divisibility patterns; prime, composite, abundant, deficient and perfect numbers; prime factorization, GCF, LCM and applications of both.

To think about:  What was the Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic and how was it important to our study of number theory in this unit?  How did this help when we tried to find the route through the number mazes?

7th Grade:  Finish "3 Little Pigs" to be handed in tomorrow.

6th Grade:  Complete the WS "CD Player" on least common multiple.  If your binder still needs to be organized, please take care of it tonight.

7th Grade:  No homework tonight.  Look over the assignments which were returned today and make a note of how you might have made improvements if you did not get a perfect score.  If you did, congratulations for a job well done!

All classes, no help sessions for the remainder of the week.

6th Grade:  No homeowork.

                  Reminder:  Quiz on Tuesday on primes, composites, prime factorization, abundant, deficient and perfect numbers, and gcf.

7th Grade:  Continue working on the review worksheet you got in class today.  You should complete 3-4 problems of each type to prepare for the test.  You also received a review sheet on Pythagorean Theorem applications. This worksheet is homework for Monday night but you might find it easier to get a head start on it if you have time.

Unit test on Tuesday on the real number system, operations with radicals, and the Pythagorean Theorem and applications.

Help session available for 7th grade on Monday.

                  Quiz next Tuesday on prime and composite numbers, factors and prime factorization, abundant, deficient and perfect numbers, greatest commom factor.

7th Grade:  Finish WS packet on radicals.  Unit test next Tuesday on all operations with radicals, applications of the Pythagorean Theorem.            

                   Due tomorrow:  "A Fair Hopper" and "Tanks for the Water".

7th Grade:  Complete both sides of "Did You Hear About..." from the worksheet packet.  Remember to show work in your notebook.
