Quiz tomorrow on box and whisker plots. Know how to find median, upper and lower quartiles, the inter-quartile range, the upper and lower limits for outliers, and how to draw and read a box and whisker plot.
7th Grade: Knockout Task and Mrs. Love's Children will be collected tomorrow.

Welcome to a new school year! Hope you've had a great summer. There are lots of exciting things happening in math this year, starting with a brand new textbook. What is even more exciting is that you will be able to access your textbook online along with tons of other good stuff to help you be successful in math this year. You'll hear more about your book as well as the other happenings in math in the coming weeks.
As you check this blog, keep in mind that I teach both 6th grade and 7th grade. I will be listing the assignments, reminders, and announcements for each grade, so make sure you read the section which pertains to you. This is a good back-up if you need to double check what your assignment is or if you are absent.
