Still working on Egg-speriment lab that illustrates osmosis/Took notes over Cellular Respiration & Photosynthesis/gave back review sheet and made corrections

homework is to finish 4.2 DR that we worked on in class

Cells Test grades were added today .....not sure I will have Cell Analogy Projects graded by Friday, but will be working on it.

Took test/started Egg-speriment in groups/finish Ch 4 questions from worksheet you received yesterday for homework

Thursday, Nov. 10

Discussed Cellular Respiration/Photosynthesis...started review sheet. It is NOT homework because you have a TEST tomorrow.

Ch 3.1 (Cell Theory, the scientists, prokaryotic vs. eukaryotic cells)

Ch 3.2 (All of the cell organelles and functions from your analogies)

Parts and function of microscopes

 

It will not take the entire period so bring binders we are planning on doing a lab.

Took notes from PowerPoint over Diffusion and Osmosis/BrainPop diffusion/spent the rest of time on Cells Review sheet for Friday's test

All classes worked on the project the entire period.....ANYTHING NOT COMPLETED WILL HAVE TO BE DONE AT HOME!

Since Cell Analogy project is due Wednesday, Nov. 8 .....we will move the Cells (3.1 & 3.2 and Microscopes) Test to next Friday, November 10 while we continue on with Cell Processes.

Thursday, Nov. 3

Discussed the rubric for the Cell Analogy project which is due Wednesday, Nov.8/

Collected yesterday's homework Cell Theory article and Performance assessment ws that compared bacteria,plant and animal cells

Spent the rest of the period working on project and we will tomorrow as well..... so make sure you bring all your materials and make good use of class time provided to work on the project
