WELCOME BACK!  I HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL, RESTFUL THANKSGIVING. 

MONDAY - 11/26/07:

• EINSTEIN'S BIG IDEA - This video reinforces our understanding of the law of conservation of energy as well as introduces the idea of energy, specifically the different types of energy, and the conservation of energy.
• STUDENTS ARE TAKING GUIDED VIDEO NOTES ON VARIOUS SCIENTISTS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE FAMOUS EQUATION E=MC2

TUESDAY - 11/27/07:

• VIDEO CONT.

WEDNESDAY - 11/28/07:

• STUDENTS WILL CHOOSE A PARTNER TO CREATE A TIMELINE TO SHOW THE DISCOVERIES AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF EACH OF THE SCIENTISTS.  THE TIMELINE PROJECT WILL BE DUE, MONDAY, DECEMBER 3RD.  Here is the link to complete assignment:Download einsteins_big_idea.doc

HOMEWORK: There is no new assignment.   The energy vocabulary will be taken up and graded on Wednesday, 11/28/07.

DAILY AGENDA FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH, 2007

• MUSIC "MATTERS" SONGS - The students are continuing to "rap" up our unit on matter by creating "Music Matters" songs.  You will have one more day in class to finish.
• "Music Matter" Songs will be performed in class on Monday, November 12th

UPDATE:  The Matter Test has been moved to THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH because of the afternoon meeting with the Walton counselors. 

Remember ..... Do not wait to begin studying for the test!!!  You have not had homework assigned and that means you should be studying and creating note cards for your test!
