Below is the directions forthe Biome Books. This was given out in class today. We will work on this in class next week.The laptops will be in class Mon and Tues. A copy of the blank worksheets are also uploaded below.
Please check your online book. Usernames and passwords were given out this week.

BIOME BOOK
Your Biome Book will be a reference book for the world biomes we have studied. The books can be used on the end of unit test and will be turned in at the end of the test.
Your Biome Book should contain the following:
A Cover Page (color, no clip art or computer images)
Table of Content (should not include the cover page or the table of content)
Biome Map (color)
Biome Information Sheets:
- Ø Rainforest
- Ø Temperate Deciduous Forest
- Ø Coniferous Forest
- Ø Desert
- Ø Polar Tundra
- Ø Alpine Tundra
- Ø Savanna
- Ø Temperate Grassland
Summary (1/2 to 1 page)
Miscellaneous
- Ø Definitions and Illustrations (from vocabulary quiz)
- Ø Any Class Notes
Be specific with locations.
You can be general with plants and animals.
Remember that the Biome Book must be handwritten.
NO TYPING, NO CLIP ART, NO COMPUTER!

Progress Reports Going Home Today
Progress reports went home today. Please have them signed and return them tomorrow.
We are continueing our adventure into biomes. We will start working on our biome books today. These books can be used on our biomes test next week (Fri, 9/30).
For today, please complete the biome world map (p526). If you were not here, you can use the map above. Directions are to color label the map for the biomes. It must be in color, but does not have to be the same colors as the book used. Do not label polar ice, mountains, or chaparrals. They should be left blank. You should have a color coded key on the front. NO MARKERS PLEASE!! These are due tomorrow.Thanks!
