Test were given back today for 1st - 6th. 7th's will be given out tomorrow. Today, we worked on Guided Reading for Chapter 10, pp. 109-120 (sections 10.1 - 10.5). This will be due on Friday.
Reminder that Simple Machine Projects are due on Thursday. Don't forget that there will be a little quiz over simple machines on Wednesday as outlined in your project packet.I look forward to seeing some great efforts on this project.
Remember that the test on Chapter 9 will be Wednesday, 3/26/08.There will be a study session at 8:30 am Tuesday morning at 8:30 am (3/25/08).

Simple machines project was given out last week. It is due on Thursday, 04/03/08. There will be a short quiz the day before over simple machines (04/02/08).

Continuing our study into Motion and Force Ch 9).
We will work on Iditarod Sled Race assignment tomorrow as we apply the concepts of speed, acceleration, velocity, and distance.
We did have our test today on Electricity. A reminder to the students who were out because of the 
chorus festival, make-up test will be Wednesday morning at 8:15 am.
Vocab words and illustrations are due on Friday. There will also be a vocab quiz over the words. The quiz will be multiple chopice and cover 15-20 of the vocab words.

Remember that our test on electricity is Tuesday, 3/11/08. There will be a help session on Monday (3/10/08) morning at 8:20 am for anyone seeking extra help. 
Reminder: For those students who will be gone during the Tuesday morning test due to the chorus trip, the make-up test will be given at 8:15 am Wednesday morning. If there is a conflict with this time, please speak to Mr. Kaht.
This week we are wrapping up Chapter 20 on electricity.
Monday - Gave out Chapter 20 Review with questions from the chapter and your notes from presentations. Also, students were given a "Help Sheet" with formulas that can be used on the test.
Reading cards or AR tests were due today (actually, they were due Friday, but extra time was given). If you did not turn the cards or test in today, do so tomorrow. There will be a late points deduction.
Tuesday - Computer Simulation write ups from last week are due today. Make sure they are complete and have the proper heading.
Today is an early release day. So, classes are shortened. A work sheet for formulas will be handed out for practice. BRING A CALCULATOR ! Today, we will work on this sheet and on yesterday's review. Please have both sheets completed for Friday.
Wednesday & Thursday - Series and Parallel Circuits labs.
Friday - We will answer questions from the review and move ahead to our next unit.
Test on electricity will be Tuesday, 3/11/08. We will be in our next unit by then, so please pace your studying. Don't wait until the last minute!
