AC - classes finished the definitions on the literary terms. There will be a test on these terms and use on January 18th. Students answered questions on Stave 1 of A Christmas Carol. Students re-read Stave 2 for work next week. Tomorrow we are going to the media center to check out books.
On Level - classes took a pretest on unit 3-6. They then finished reading "The Melting Pot" on pages 206 - 211. They answered the questions on page 211, #1-5, defined the vocabulary in bold using context clues and marked the text for important insights into the author's purpose.
