Now that we have finished reading the novel, it's a good time to think about the theme. What did Sara learn as a result of her conflict (s)? What do you think a reader can learn and apply to his/her life?
Compose a well-written paragraph that states the theme of the novel as well as the reasons for selecting it as a theme.
A few of the early responder did more of a plot summary like Christian's and Rachel's. Look at Reid's and Cecelia's, they are more about theme.

OK, Period Three, you have done a fine job on your posts. It took a while for you to understand what I was looking for in your posts, but you got it in the end. I think that I have some budding journalists in this class :)
