Bonjour, mes amis!  Passez un bon, long weekend, MAIS  n'oubliez pas vos projets de votre famille!  Ils sont dûs quand nous rentrons à l'école mercredi -le 20 février!!!  Pas d'excuses!!

Hi!  Have a great, long weekend, BUT don't forget your family projects!  They are due when we come back to school Wed., Feb. 20.  No excuses!!!  Also, don't forget to have 3 things for me Wed., the 20th:

   1) the PowerPoint project itself burned to a disc, a floppy disc, or saved on a flash drive; If you're going to email your project back to school, you must be sure that it will work!  If it hasn't been working before this, it won't work on Wednesday!  Therefore, you should save your project to a disc etc as stated above!!!

   2) a printed handout showing all your slides.  I showed you how to select "what to print" on the PowerPoint print command.  It's on the bottom left.  You use the dropdown to select either slides or handout (6 per page)!

  3) Your rubric - in the project explanation packet!!!

I am soooo excited to see your masterpieces and your lovely families!  Bon Week-end!

Bonjour, mes amis!  I have attached the Family Project Explanation and Rubric below.  Please remember it is DUE when you return from this little winter break, Wednesday Feb. 20.  You must either have your PowerPoint burned to a disk or on your student number or on a Flash Drive!  Remember to correct your introductions that I corrected for you and to pattern the other 8 after them.  Keep it simple, but not too simple!  Bonne Chance!  Pensez!

Bonjour, mes amis!  Today in class we continued to work on the family project!  Also, I took a grade on the sheet from yesterday where you described your mother and then your father in 10 sentences each.  Tonight you'll do the same for two of your grandparents.  Quiz on Être tomorrow and you will show it with the adjective < grand / grands  >  and  < grande  /  grandes >  as is appropriate!  Look at the sheet!

Keep working on the project!  It is DUE in a week - Wednesday, Feb. 20!

Bonjour, mes amis!  Demain est MARDI GRAS!!!  Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Hi!  Tomorrow is Mardi Gras!  Let the good times roll!  We start tomorrow in the Media Center at 8:45 to get masks on, get your candy ready (you did buy some, right?), and to get in line as to which 7th Grade Pod you are visiting!  We have to be quick!  You'll only have 8 minutes to distribute candy and show off your masks before homeroom ends and you are due in 1st Period!  We'll judge the masks during your regular class period.

After school, those who volunteered will stay and help me decorate before everyone returns at 6 pm.  Be sure your mother or dad signs your agenda that you can stay or . . .  Have them pick you up at 7:15 in front of the school - not in the back!  No one walks home tomorrow evening!  That scares me!  They will love to come for you in the dark!

DON'T FORGET YOUR 2 LITER DRINKS AND DESSERTS FOR THE PARTY EITHER!  BRING THEM TO SCHOOL IN THE MORNING AND WE'LL PUT THEM IN MY ROOM.
