Bonjour, mes amis!  Bienvenue à mon < BLOG >!  Hi, my friends!  Welcome to my BLOG!  The BLOG will help you keep up with assignments and even act as a tutor when you are absent from class or simply need to review.  Of course, it is best always to be in class, but I recognize that isn't always possible.  Therefore, the BLOG should be a great benefit to you!

This year the BLOG has added a new feature.  Parents may sign up with their email address to receive an automatic update when I post a new entry to the BLOG.  My additions may be daily or weekly depending on the lessons planned.  Any time you wish to contact me however, it would be best to email me at

Linda.Reinecke@cobbk12.org making reference to your child in the email's title (or I may not respond if I didn't know your email address.  We get so much spam it's incredible!)  You certainly may telephone me at school, too.  I am a member of the 8-B team.  I have recently found though that email might be quicker.

Now for The French Lessons So Far:  We have learned how to count from 0 - 39; l'alphabet français, the 5 accents français, math facts and the 4 operations (to 39!), how to pose and answer questions regarding our name and age, body parts, classroom objects and classroom commands, and courtesy.  We have even taken our first written QUIZ on spelling the numbers 0 - 10.  Goodness - no wonder I'm tired!  The students are learning very quickly and are very enthusiastic!  They should be practicing every evening OUTLOUD!

If you missed the numbers 0-10 quiz, you should come before school one morning next week to make it up.  Make ups are always before school so that you don't miss even more instruction, practice, and word play!

I have attached some of the powerpoints used in class for review.

Bonne Chance cette année!  J'aime la classe de français!

Amitiés,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Madame
