Big test tomorrow...Hope you have been using your study guide on page VI in your Interactive Notebook for the Middle East final....multiple choice as you know!

I handed out the design for your new notebook cover for Africa...Happy Scrabbling...(if there is such a word!!) More than likely the cover will be due Thursday, December 1st.  I am not expecting that you work on this over our Thanksgiving Break....But...if you wanted to, you could...your choice!  You have the rest of this week, and the week after Thanksgiving.  Have fun!  Get started on it so if you have questions you can ask me before class each day...Do not wait until the last minute.

Today, you were suppose to have had your new notebook ready to begin Africa.  I did a check for those today.  Once it is checked for the correct size, then you don't need to bring it back until I request it.  Continue to bring your M.E. notebook, please, until I say otherwise!

Middle East final next Tuesday!

Today, I passed out your unit study guide for the Middle East final.  This will be on Tuesday, November 15th.

Your Government assessment is this Thursday.  You have that information in your I.N.

We are currently working on the economics standards for the Middle East.

Our plans for Friday's class have changed, so your new notebook will be due on Monday, not this Friday.  Continue to bring your Middle East notebook until I tell you otherwise.

Periods 3,4, and 5 if you didn't finish today's class activity, please finish it tonight for homework.

So...test dates have been finalized.  There will be a Government final assessment on Thursday, November 10th.  I had planned on having you do that on Tuesday, the 8th, but then realized that I am here at school, but you are not....and because of that date, the final unit test on the Middle East was moved to Tuesday, November 15th.

Don't forget that you will need your new notebook soon.  I would like you to have it by next Friday, November 11th. See yesterday's blog entry about the specifics.

For homework tonight: I would study the PowerPoint on Government for the generic information for government systems, types, and forms.  And, then I would review the political and physical maps for the Middle East.

For Homework....

First of all....GREAT overall job on the Religion/History Test....awesome results....It shows you studied in advance!!

Now....we are nearing the end of the Middle East Unit....right on time! So...there is going to be a unit final coming your way shortly.  I'm thinking that it will either be on Thursday, November 10th, or at the latest, Tuesday, November 15th.  I will give you a "KNOW" sheet again, but I suggest you start by reviewing the political and physical maps in your I.N. now.  Study/review a little each night.  If you have studied all along for the assessments, then you will, more than likely, just be reviewing...If you didn't put quite enough study time in for some of the sections, then that's where I would be putting time right now.

You will also need a new notebook...same as the Middle Eastern one...same size, college rule, single subject...8 1/2 by 11.....with a pocket folder soon...so think about stopping by the school store one morning to buy one if you don't already have one at home.
