Assignment for tonight: Question of the Day.                                                                                  Think of a question you can ask the class tomorrow. Make sure the question is from what we learnt this year. Make sure you know the answer!

Today, we discussed our end of the year Dream Vacation  project. Details given below:

Dream Vacation Project

World Cultures Travel Brochure

You are a travel agent with the task of creating a brochure. This is an individual project that will be completed during class.  Each student will be assigned a country.

Directions:
Using the internet, your textbook, and other sources, you will collect information about your country.  The information must include but not limited to:

• Major physical features (3)
• Population
• Climate
• Major languages
• Type of currency
• Literacy Rate
• What type of government
• Culture (festivals, food, music, religion, and traditions)
• Main tourist attractions
• The cost of how much it is to fly there ( www.expedia.com).
• You may also want to include any additional, interesting information (famous people, major historical events, and unusual celebrations).

We will work on it in class. Due May 13, Tuesday.

Finally, five days of testing is over!!! Hopefully our three day Jeopardy CRCT practice will pay off.

Back to regular schedule starting tomorrow. Tomorrow we will discuss our BIG end of the year project. This will be for a test grade.
