Report Cards

Please bring in the $1.00 for the report card mailings.  Put his money in the envelope given to you by your homeroom teacher, and put it in the black box located on the walls in the halls (seems like I am still in poetry mode).  Thank you.

Novel Study

We will begin our novel study of Cheaper by the Dozen tomorrow.  This unit will lead us up to the end of school.  And by the way, I promise it is nothing like the Steve Martin version.

Movie Permission Letter

Durning 8th grade field day on Friday May 15th, we will watch a movie during connections.  Have your parents sign your agenda saying you can/can't watch the movie by Wednesday May 13th.  The permission is attached below.

A Message:

Parents and students:  Information regarding the swine flu from the CDC has been placed on our web site.  We are encouraging students to wash their hands and to carry individual sized hand sanitizes in purses, etc.   Our school always has soap, hot water and paper towels.  In addition, most of us have hand sanitizes on our desks for student use.  Please speak with your student at home about the importance of washing hands, covering mouths when sneezing, etc.
