Chapter 8 Review - Ch. 8 Test is tomorrow. 

I have gone home sick today and may not be back tomorrow, so, I am cancelling the Help-session.  Ms. Bailey may be available, check with her today.

You may use your mini-booklet on the test tomorrow.  Turn it in to the basket when you turn in your test materials and answer key.

Warm-up:

  • self-check HW WS assignments

Classwork:

  • Continue working on your Ch. 8 Assessment from your textbook, pages 281-283:  due-Wed. 1/30/08
  • Glacial Report - due:  Fri. 2/1/08
  • Lab Stations
  • Class Poster - each student should post 1 fact about the Chattahoochee River System, include a pic with a caption and mount on construction paper.

Homework:  Study for your Ch. 8 Test!  Review key terms from all sections, your GR wkbk pages, and your Practice WS.

8.6 Wind

Warm-up:

  • Discuss and collect yesterdays CW assignment: Landforms created by wave erosion and deposition.

Classwork:

  • Glacier Report-use the Enrich WS(52) as a model for your "Profile of a Glacier" report.  Mount on construction paper with a picture of your glacier.  Turn in when complete.  Due:  Friday, Feb. 1st.
  • Lab Stations - complete in lab folder
  • Class Poster - Exploring the Chattahoochee River System (each student adds 1 fact about the chattahoochee, include a picture)
