New TOC (Table of Contents) - Topography, Minerals, and Rocks

Warm-up:  Using our Guided Reading Workbooks (GR wkbk)

• Read pages 46-54, do pages 15-17 from your GR wkbk pages.
• PH Science Explorer ES iText  id and pw required, use handout provided
• discussed what information to look for in our reading, types of questions, etc.

Class work:  Measuring Mass

End of Unit - Time to get ready for our next unit on Minerals!

Warm-up:

• Place Diagram in HW basket
• Create cover for Intro to ES
• SCI NB due:  Monday, Sept. 10th

Introduction to Earth Science Test!!!

Warm-up:

• Self-check Assessment pages 14-15
• Turn into HW basket for CW grade

Class work:

• Intro to ES test
• Scantron, pencil only, one sheet of NB paper
• Read pages 22-24, answer question #4 in your journal section of your SCI NB

Homework:  Draw and label the layers of the Earth.  List the 4 spheres and describe each sphere in your own words.  Neatness, Color, and Creativity count!!
