Reading Periods 1, 2, & 7

This is the book we are reading in Periods 1,2 & 3   Periods 1&2 are working on comprehension and story elements, Period seven is reviewing those comcepts and working on fluency and prosody.

Vocabulary for Chapters 3 & 4 is due Wednesday ,                                                                     Vocabulary Quiz on Friday on 16 vocabulary words from Chapters 1-4

Current Event is due on Thursday- (Periods 1&2 have been given an article to use for this week)

Students should be about 3/4 through their October Book.  AR test and 'Bingo' Project is due one week from Friday on October 29th.  (topic for bingo project is to have already been chosen)

 

 

 

Next Week

On going medical concerns make it necessary for me to be absent from Dickerson for the week of Oct 4-8th.  I return to school on Monday Oct. 11th.  I, again, leave my students and plans in the very capable hands of Mrs. Gail Dwyer (retired DMS teacher).  I can be contacted via email if you have concerns over grades etc.  Thank you for your understanding.   Lisa Larkin
