I have moved the test to Thursday so that we could spend more time on Scientific Notation.
9/19 Review - We will review by playing MATHO and completing a review worksheet. The test will be very similar to the review worksheet. Students can also practice problems on the website or work problems from the textbook. The answers to problems on page 204 are in the back of the book
9/20 We will begin a new unit on Square Roots and Pythagorean Theorem.
We are working on properties of exponents. Today, we are playing MATHO- a bingo game to review what has been taught so far.
We will begin the next section on Scientific Notation tomorrow.
Next week we will review Sections 4-1 through 4-4. The test will be on Weds. If the students do not finish, they will complete the test on Thursday. Students can practice at home by going to the online textbook
We started a new chapter yesterday by folding and cutting paper as a hands on activity to introduce exponents and powers.

9/6 Students will be bringing home the Parent Letter explaining this unit. This letter reviews all vocabulary and resources for additional help. The online textbook website has many activities for the students to practice these concepts.
