el 10 de marzo - Review stem change verbs and take quiz.  Intro to verbs gustar and encantar.  HW = p.62 in wkbk, review for test

el 11 de marzo - Review hw and gustar/encantar.  Practice verbs, new vocab, start questions and finish for homework

el 12 de marzo - Review questions, use new vocab to make dialogues in groups of three.  HW = Memorize dialogue and continue to study for test

el 13 de marzo - Practice and perform dialogues for a quiz grade.  Review for test.

el 14 de marzo - Chapter 5 exam - Topics include: 1) the questions (pulled from hw give on 11/3/08),  2)food vocab (practice vocab cards), 3) verbs gustar and encantar 4) present tense (verbs and endings are on worksheet), 5) stem change verbs (from worksheet) 6) dialogue - know how to answer questions for a waiter in a restaurant. 7) restaurant vocab 8) translations - know both sides of vocab sheet 9) a short composition applying verbs and vocab from chapter.

Two excuses = No lo recuerdo.  Se me olvidó.  Study session is the morning of the test at 8:15.  Extra help session at 8:15 on Wed (12/3/08)

el 4 de marzo - Review written hw, Review present tense and take quiz. Intro to new vocabulary.       HW = Make vocab cards

el 5 de marzo - Review cards and vocab, translate sentences written on board.  New verbvocabulary.  Intro to stem change verbs.  Hw = study vocab cards for quiz

el 6 de marzo - Review vocab and take quiz.  Write and review stem change sentences in groups of two.  Start hw in class.  HW = 3 worksheets

el 7 de marzo - Discuss topics on next test (el 14 de marzo).  Review hw, review stem change verbs, practice with white boards, start hw in class.  HW = worksheet and study stem change verbs for quiz

el 13 de febrero - Review session at 8:15am. Chapter 4 exam.  Topics include questions 1-23, All words on chapter 4 vocab sheet, regular endings for AR verbs, irregular verbs - ser/estar/ir/tener, future - ir+A+INF, obligations - Tener+Que+Infinitive

el 14 de febrero - New vocab, watch movie which will introduce food, er and ir verbs. HW = worksheet to practice vocab

el 5 de febrero - review tener and expressions, Intro to tener + que + inf to express obligations and tener ganas de + inf to discuss things they "feel like" doing.  Do translations, watch short video of verb tener.  HW = p. 60 in wkbk

el 6 de febrero - Review hw, review tener info.  Play jeopardy game to practice 4 irregular verbs (ser, estar, ir, tener).  HW = study tener, tener expressions, tener+que+inf, and tener ganas de+inf for 15 question quiz.

el 7 de febrero - Review and take quiz.  Discuss topics on Feb 13th test (topics on next post).  Do practice worksheet and finish for hw

el 8 de febrero - Substitute teacher will give students two sided worksheet (review of irreg verbs) to complete in class, students will complete questions # 1-23 on back of vocab sheet to prepare for next test and set of orals.  HW = make sure all classwork is complete and review for ch 4 test on Wed.
