el 27 de septiembre - review packet, New vocab (1st column on ch 1 list), make dialogues in groups of three.  HW = memorize dialogue

el 28 de septiembre - Dialogues performed for quiz grade.  Practice gustar and new vocab (2nd column of ch 1 list) with power point.  HW = make vocab cards

el 23 de septiembre - open book quiz.  New vocab (chapter 1).  Practice vocab with 3 new questions.  HW = Bring colors and dictionary to class Monday

12/9/11 - 16/9/11

el 12 de septiembre - Review days and months.  Practice dates, 2 questions with dates, practice seasons and season question.  HW = 3rd page of packet

el 13 de septiembre - Review hw, review days, months, seasons, and questions.  Do and practice worksheet with test questions.    HW = last page of packet and study for test, bring dry erase marker to class tomorrow.  Study session is Wed (14/9) for those interested

el 14 de septiembre - Study session at 8:15 am.  No 1st period class due to assembly.  Periods 2, 3, 6, 7 - practice info for test.  HW = STUDY!!

el 15 de septiembre - Complete map/capital assignment with substitute teacher.  HW = complete work not finished in class.  Work will count as a hw assignment

The test has 8 sections.

1-El Alfabeto - Students listen to letters of alphabet and write down to spell word
2-Las Preguntas - Students write responses to questions asked since beginning of year. Questions chosen for test are in practice questions given on Tues (13/9). 
3- Los Días - Students list days of week
4- Las Expresiones - Students label pictures with appropriate classroom expression from expression vocab list
5- Los Números - numbers 1 - 199
6- Las Fechas - Students write out the numeric date
7- Los Colores - Students write the color after reading the Spanish description
8- Las Estaciones - Label picture with correct season
