Progress Reports for 3rd quarter went home Wednesday, February 16th.

March 18th will be a day for students to report to school.   

Please check supplies---many students are coming to class without #2 pencils and notebook paper.  Some binders need to be replaced for the third quarter.  

Mrs. Kilgore's Classroom Wish List:   

• individually wrapped pieces of candy for treats (146 total students)
• green and orange highlighters

Language Arts 

We completed working on the persuasive essay which was due Feb. 18th!  

Bring tomorrow: 

1. Thank you note rough draft completed
2. 44 cent stamp
3. Address of the person to whom you are writing
4. Thank you note card and envelope
5. Pen

Today we continued working on the persuasive essay in the computer lab.  Students used a peer editing sheet to help today. We will look for specific items to be highlighted tomorrow in class.

Today we worked on the persuasive essay in the computer lab.  Students printed what they have completed so far.  Continue to use your handouts giving reasons to support your topic/claim.  We will work on adding ideas to these tomorrow in class.
