Assignments for 11/30/07:

D.G.P.-Fri.   Week Ten 

Complete your "If I were a gift..." paragraph, edit, copy in ink on your final copy sheet, color the top and bottom, cut out , and fold.   Be prepared to share your paragraph aloud  and turn it in completed on Mon.  We worked on these today in class with materials provided. Some students really used their time and don't have much to do, others need to complete theirs at home.

Spelling Quiz on Unit 4 words Wed., 12/5/07.

Today, Friday, 11/30/07, there was a binder check on D.G.P. weeks 6-10.   This will count as a quiz grade.

Assignments for 11/19 & 20/07:

D.G.P.-Mon.- Fri.   Week Nine

Mon. students were given one last chance to edit and revise the final copy of the business letter.  Make sure all parts of the business letter were in the proper places on the paper. Students were allowed to reprint thier letters if mistakes were found.

Test Wed., 11/28/07 on business letters, friendly letters, thank you notes, abbreviations, and end of sentence punctuation.

Mon., 11/19, We created "TURKEYS IN DRESSING" in class.  Illustrate and give your turkey an occupation or disquise.  Also complete the business letter study guide (on the back of the handout).

Tues., 11/20, Lit Bk.- Read p. 580-584.  "Turkeys"  Answer questions #1-6 on p. 584. Due Mon 11/26.
