Assignments for 9/28/07:
D.G.P. for Thurs. & Fri. completed today in class.
Students had the remainder of the period to work on their essay(on the computer), check out a book, take an A R test(due for their connections teacher today), or read a pleasure book in the Media Center.
We will meet in the E 3 Computer Lab Monday to complete the final copy of the Narrative Essay.

Continued on the computers with Narrative Writing sensory details, vivid descriptions, N2SSWTSW (NO TWO SENTENCES START WITH THE SAME WORD IN A PARAGRAPH). We met in the Computer Lab today.

We continued discussing Narrative Writing today. Complete the 2 handouts to plan writing your narrative--- started in class today.
Two helpful handouts were also given (to remain in the KEEPERS SECTION of your binder). These were on "Transition" words, "Dead" words , capitalization, punctuation, and words to use in the place of "said".

Complete your YELLOW CHART-- "ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF A NARRATIVE" using the story "Feathered Friend". You should have ALL SECTIONS FINISHED!
