English Department will be offering help for all students on developing reading skills and notetaking, as well as connecting text to contemporary issues.

8LA:  We will finish reading the play version of A Diary of a Young Girl.  We'll discuss the play.  We'll watch a video about what happened to those in the annex after their discovery.  We also have a guest speaker coming...Mr. Whittaker will be back to discuss writing, publishing, creativity and have a Q & A session on his experiences during WWII. 

8AC:  READ your novels.  Post your paragraphs on the blog.  We will hear/watch debates this week.  Works Cited page due Wednesday.

8LA Monday-Wednesday-WWII/Holocaust/Genocide Research project presentations!

8AC LA:  Read MAUS.  Discuss.
