In 8LA- We are reading the play version of Diary of a Young Girl.  (Except my high achievers...they are reading their novels!)

8 AC LA-We are reading MAUS this week.  Debates will be held the week of May 9-11.

8LA Research Project

April 11-15

We will finish the film To Kill a Mockingbird this week.  I'll also show examples/models of the TKM projects.  We'll also be reading and discussing poetry!  CRCTs are all week in the morning.  Please:

1.  Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night. 

2.  Eat a healthy breakfast!  (It's your LA homework for Wednesday morning!)

3.  Take your time with the test.  You have up to 70 minutes for each test!  Use it!

4.  Read the questions first.  This helps you focus in on what you are supposed to answer. 

5.  Read ALL the answer options/choices.  Don't be tricked by a good answer...find the BEST answer.

6.  Mark on your test booklet.  Use the process of elimination.  Highlight [box] important words.

7.  Be a careful reader!

8. Do the best you can!
