Tomorrow is the BIG TEST! Study your classical roots; almost ALL of the Latin and Greek roots we've learned this year will be on the cumulative test. (Hence the name!) Go back to last week's blog and download one of the most excellent power points to help you study. (If you only use the pink book you may trick yourself into thinking you know the root since the answer is right there.) Have a parent, sibling or neighbor quiz you! Impress them with your knowledge. Bring a pleasure reading book or THe Diary of a Young Girl to read after you finish the test.
Today in ALP classes I shared a brief overview of the causes of WWII, filling in some gaps where the research presentations missed since all topics weren't covered in each class. There's a color map activity to do if you were absent. Keep this in your LA binder; we may refer to it again soon.
8LA--Finish reading Act II. Questions and sociogram are due Monday. You may also have time to read in class tomorrow after the test. We watched the rest of Act I and started watching Act II. We ended on a tense scene! As many times as I've seen the film, THAT scene makes me so tense EVERY time! I'm glad y'all were into it, too.
Peace! Fare thee well tomorrow!
