Open House is Tuesday, August 23rd, starting at 6pm. Please ask your student for his or her schedule so you will know what rooms to visit. I look forward to seeing parents there!
Reading Work of this week:
HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEK: READ EVERY NIGHT FOR 20 MINUTES.
Monday and Tuesday was spent in the E4 computer lab working on a small project based on the summer reading. ALl students will complete this at school, no need to bring it home.
Wed: Pre-test on literary terms, such as the parts of a plot, theme, characters and conflict. Then students will use their text books to graph some information. Finally, there will be time to go to the Media Center for book check-out.
Thursday: Notes on literary terms and application of terms for plot.
Friday: Presentation of summer reading projects and silent reading.
