Periods 1 and 4 completed the comparison/contrast of the Industrial/French Revolutions. Period 2 completed the articles on Galileo and Newton. Today we focused on the French Revolution. Be sure to get the notes if you missed class today. There is no assignment.
We finished our work on Galileo's and Newton's contributions to the Scientific Revolution. Periods 1 and 4 also did a comparison/contrast on the Industrial/French Revolutions.
Assignment: Read pages 316-317 in your text.
We continued work on the Industrial Revolution and started on articles on Galileo and Newton. We will complete that on Monday. There is no assignment.

Today we discussed revolution as it applies to the Age of Revolution. If you did not finish reading pages 313-315 in your text and did not complete page 35 in your workbook, you need to do that tonight.
Assignment: Define the following words on page 40 of your notebook: capitalism, labor force, Industrial Revolution, and Scientific Revolution.

There was a test today on trade, exploration, and physical features. There is no assignment.
The make-up test will be on Friday at 8:00; the notebook check make up will be on friday at 8:30.
