I collected the journal entries today. We reviewed the causes of WWI and completed the map activity of Europe before and after WWI. We also worked on a read aloud/think aloud activity with the article "The Spark." There is no assignment.

Today you completed and turned in your concept webs on nationalism and constitutional monarchy. We also worked on a history atlas activity on Europe changing its borders.
Homework - Read pages 329-332 in your text and complete page 37 of your workbook. Your journal entry is due on Wednesday.

We reviewed the Russian Revolution and the rise of communism. We also began research for a journal entry from the perspective of Anastasia, Aleksey, or Nicholas II. This entry is due on Wednesday, October 31.
If you are planning to send a Thanksgiving letter to an American soldier, you will need to give it to me by tomorrow.

All Classes: There will be a quiz on the Scientific, Industrial, and French Revolutions on Wednesday. Review pages 313-317 of text and pages 40-43 of notebook (periods 1,4 - also review pages 170-171 in notebbok).
Don't forget to get your report card signed and that picture retakes are tomorrow.

If you did not finish your poster, you may come in on Monday morning any time after 8:00 to complete it. You will NOT have time in class to do this.

We started a group activity in which you became experts on your topic of imperial Russia to share with all of the other groups. We will continue with the poster portion tomorrow.
