Today we introduced vocabulary on house chores, students talked about how often they do things around the house and then we talked about uses of present progressive. We did some exercises on page 209 of the workbook.

Today we talked about the "Mi casa es su casa" phrase and the difference in good manners among the different cultures. In small groups, students drew the house of their dreams. They have to present to the class tomorrow.

Today we reviewed the vocabulary, definitions and questions from the movie. Then students used that vocabulary to re create a story of their own. They presented the story to the class.

Today we worked on movie vocabulary (rooms in the house, clothing, body parts). Students described scenes from the movie in Spanish. They also worked on questions about the movie.

Today we reviewed bedroom furniture vocabulary. Students described what they have in their bedrooms. We also worked on definitions of people and occupations from the movie Toy Story. They watched a little bit more of the movie.
