Welcome back,
today we introduced figurative language. Many of the students remember some of it , but are a bit fuzzy on the definitions. Throughout the next nine weeks we will be working on poetry, reading a novel " The Young Man and The Sea" and focusing on figurative language.
Since we have only four days of school this week and next ,the students are required to read 180 total minutes for each week. The students will need a total of 30 AR points for this nine weeks. That catches you up on what is to come.
