It's Wednesday and the kids are getting ancy waiting for Friday. Please remind the students that we have virtually no time after break to review for the CRCT, so please stay focused.

We are continuing our practice drills and we'll be going to the library tomorrow to get pleasure reading books.

Dear parents and students,

We are now preparing for the CRCTs. Everyday we will be working on specific standards that we have covered through the year. We will spend approximately thirty minutes of each class period working on those skills. The remainder of class will be spent reading silently. The new quarter has begun and the students need 35 points.

Two more weeks until spring break, but for reading two more weeks to review for the CRCT. Our test is the first one, the Tuesday we get back. Please remind your children to stay focused.

Continue to read; take a book outside and enjoy the sun!

3/10/11

Today we took a fifty question vocabulary quiz ( a combination matching and fill in the blank). Many students didn't finish. Mrs. Larkin has graciously allowed my students to come in the morning to finish .All students must be in the cafeteria by 8:15 so that she can escort them to her room. I am on the hospitality committee and have an early meeting for that.

We will be reviewing for our test over Maximum Ride, which is on Monday. All points must be made by Thursday the 17th.

Finally tomorrow is Friday which means reading logs need to be signed tonight.

Download Vocabulary for Maximum Ride 2We actually have homework tonight. I have attached the vocabulary words, so that there are no excuses.

during class the students wrote the word, the definition, used that word in a sentence and then drew a correlating picture . The students are to complete five more from where they left off in class.

We will be having a quiz  over these words Thursday.

There will be a test over Maximum Ride on Monday the 14th.
