This weeks happenings: We went on ,Monday, to the media center to work on our travel brochure, We will be going tomorrow so we need all the info. that has been gathered.

some of the student received their quizzes back and weren't pleased with their grades ,so I have given a take home worksheet for the students to do for h.w. 3rd and 4th per. tonight. 1st and 2nd did theirs last night. When I have graded the worksheet I'll take an average of the two grades and that will be their quiz grade. look for the posting no later than Thursday.

We will be working on the brochure and having a notebook quiz all during this week .

Next week we will be enjoying the geography bee, nothing to study for  and it doesn't count towards their grades. This is challenging and the students will learn as we listen to each question. so I have caught you up on what's going on.

The students need to keep a level head, holiday fever has arrived,so that they may be successful during the next week and a half.

I once again have been remiss, I haven't been posting.

We have no homework tonight .

On Thursday there will be a 15 question quiz over the basic principles of communism and life after communism. The pages in their text they should review are 353- 366. They can also review their notes from post communism .

I have posted the grades for the writing piece the children did on living in the transition period of communism VS. non- communism. I was quite impressed with many of them .

To the parents who have taken time to purchase gifts for our buddy school, thank you. We still have until Friday to get those gifts in.
