Have you taken your April AR test? You have FOUR days left to take it. There are two 6th graders, three 7th, and three 8th graders who have NOT taken this month's test. (Are you one???) Remember that May is a very short month; you will have less than 3 weeks to finish a book.
Progress reports will go home May 3.

Hello Everybody and Happy Friday!
Today you have completed 80% of the CRCT. On Monday you will take the social studies portion On Monday in class you will also "teach your word" since we were unable to get to it today. I want to thank Rotem and Aashish for reading and then attemping to answer yesterday's question from the blog. The words tough, bough, cough, dough have only the ending -ough in common. They are different because the -ough is pronounced differently in each one.
Look at dear_ fear_ bear_ pear. How are they alike and how are they different?

CRCT is going great! You are now three-fifths of the way finished. Tomorrow is the science portion of the test. ALL students are required to take this test.
Today you worked on vocabulary words and tomorrow you will "teach" your word. (I love days like this!)
Also tomorrow reading logs are due. 8th graders will bring their reading logs on Monday. (Don't forget!)

Day 2 of the CRCT is over. Tomorrow is the math test, and ALL students will take it. Please remember to eat breakfast before school. Your body needs fuel to function (think!!) Also remember to have two #2 pencils.
