Monday - We will write a compare/contrast, problem solution, holiday short story. Students will exchange stories and identify the organizational patterns.
Tuesday - We will read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and have a comprehension check on the play. We will read an article on Rudolph.
Wednesday - We will read a Junior Scholastic Magazine, do a play, and discuss the articles.
Thursday - We will do a timeline on the life of Charles Dickens.
For homework, you must read for at least a half hour every day.
