Friday, Sept. 30

There will be a help session Monday morning at 8:15 am for math 6 students.  There will NOT be a help session on Tuesday morning.

math 6:  STUDY FOR MONDAY'S UNIT TEST.  Use your study guide and old homework assignments and the quiz that was returned yesterday.  Get parent signature on that quiz if you have not yet done so.

math 6/7:  the green sheet is due on Monday...make sure your work is on loose leaf paper, and attached.  In your spiral, do the following problems from the textbook:  pg. 110, #25-37; pg. 111, #38-42;  pg. 114 #17-19 and 22-26;  pg. 115 #27-30;  pg. 120 #20-35; and pg. 121 #37-45.

Thursday, Sept. 29

math 6:  get parent signature on the quiz that was returned today.  There is a unit TEST on Monday.  For homework, complete the study guide, following the directions at the top of the page.  Remember, you had 40 minutes of class time to work on it!  Also, "Nick, the knight" is due tomorrow.

math 6/7:  the green sheet will be collected on Monday.  Show all work on separate looseleaf.

Wed., Sept. 28

There will be a help session tomorrow morning at 8:15 am for math 6 students.

math 6:  Unit test will be Monday, Oct. 3.  For homework do the 5 word problems on the back of last night's word problem worksheet.  Show all work in your spiral.  Also, "Nick, the Knight" is due on Friday...with work on looseleaf, attached.

math 6/7:  test today, no homework.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

math 6:  complete the FRONT side of the word problem worksheet.  That is the side that has 8 problems on it.  The unit TEST is on Monday, Oct. 3

math 6/7:  Study for tomorrow's unit test.  Ms. Tom will be holding a help session tomorrow morning at 8:15 am for the 6/7 students.

Monday, Sept. 26

There will be a math 6 help session tomorrow morning at 8:15am

math 6:  draw"T" and list all factor pairs for #1-9 on workbook pg. 26; Also do #1 and #5 ONLY on the FRONT of the word problem worksheet.  Unit test will be next Monday.

math 6/7:  finish through #18 on your sheet of word problems.  Unit test will be Wed. of this week.

Friday, Sept. 23

MONDAY IS QUIZ DAY!!!

math 6:  complete the study guide.  Do the work in your spiral.  Check your answers using the answer key on the back of the study guide.  Spend time reviewing all quiz topics listed at the top of the study guide.

math 6/7:  Study for your quiz.  Also do packet side 8, #1-10 in your spiral.  There will be a unit test on Wed. the 28th.  You are welcome to join Ms. Tom in her classroom Monday morning at 8:15am for a help session.

Thursday, Sept. 22

math 6:  quiz on Monday.  Show your work in your spiral for the LCM worksheet that's on the BACK side of the donut ws you did for last night's homework.

math 6/7:  Show work in your spiral...6-7 Practice worksheet, in your packet.  You have a quiz on Monday.

Wed., Sept. 21

There will be a math 6 help session tomorrow morning at 8:15am.

math 6:  Show the work in your spiral for the LCM donut worksheet.  Also find the LCM of:  1)   44   and 110          2)  60   and  135

math 6/7:  Show work in your spiral for workbook pg. 34 and packet side 7 (dog/CD player)

math 6:  in your spiral, do textbook pg. 175, problems 19-27.  Also find the GCF for these following 4 sets of numbers:  1)  156   39    2) 90   126  3)  280   320       4)   39   65   182

math 6/7:  complete the two worksheets in your packet on analyzing the first move in the factor game. 

Monday, Sept. 19

There is a math 6 help session tomorrow morning.  Math 6/7 students are invited to Ms. Tom's room.
