Friday: the "You Get Down Off This" picture is due on Monday.  You must color/decorate it!

There is a help session tomorrow morning.

homework:  Study for tomorrow's quiz on integers in real life; comparing and ordering integers; and combining integers.

Finish the hand-written worksheet in your packet and do red workbook pgs. 95 and 96, # 4-20 only on each page.

Monday, April 25

There will be a morning help session on Wednesday.

There will be a quiz on Wednesday also...sections 11-1 and 11-2 in the book, and on combining integers.

homework:  finished maps are due tomorrow.  Make sure "Lions and Tigers" and "unlawful/illegal" worksheets in your packet are completed.  Also do #1-10 of the handwritten problems on the page in your packet that follows the "unlawful" worksheet.

Friday, April 22

There will be a morning help session on Wednesday.

There will be a quiz next Wed.

homework: Finish your maps and turn them in by next Tuesday....yes, I am pushing this date back from Monday.  Also, today's classwork was the worksheet titled "What Should You Do If You Are Surrounded By 20 Lions, 15 Tigers and 10 Leopards". This worksheet is in the packet you received yesterday.   If you missed class today, have this worksheet completed by Tuesday.

Thursday, April 21

There will be a help session next week, Wednesday morning.

homework:  maps are due no later than Monday the 25th.  Do the "sum up" worksheet.  Make sure you check your work by filling in the section ath the bottom of the page.  If you get nonsense, you've made errors.

 

Wednesday, April 20

Future help sessions will be announced.

homework:  finished maps are due by Monday the 25th.  I will accept them Thursday, Friday and Monday.  3rd period has no additional homework, other classes are to do all 30 problems on the side of the sheet titled "combining integers" (single signs)

Tuesday, April 19

There is no scheduled help session at this time.

homework:  red workbook pgs. 92 and 93.  The colored maps are due on Friday (for a grade).

Return the purple coach book if you have not yet done so.

Monday, April 18

Help sessions will be announced in advance for future dates.

homework:  the map coloring project, following map makers rules, is due this Friday.

The long-term assignment, Sample Test A, is due tomorrow.  Reference previous blogs for detailed instructions.

Happy spring break! No homework!!!

But here's a re-listing of the requirements of your long-term assignment, the "Sample Test A" on pgs. 91-99 in the white CRCT workbook.

1) due Tuesday, April 12th, counts as a quiz grade.  You may recieve help from mom, dad, older sibling, textbook references, etc.

2) show all work/calculations on the workbook page itself.

3) omit problem #s 3, 19 and 59.

4) there is a minor error in #25...the exact answer is not given as one of the answer choices.  Select the answer closest in value to your calculation.
