Sample Test A in the white CRCT workbook is due April 12th.  It will count as a quiz grade.  Follow instructions on the board in class.

Go on www.usatestprep.com or use the purple coach workbook to prepare for the CRCT test.  Parents, your child has the opportunity to take home the coach workbook.  See details on previous days' blogs.

homework:  In the white CRCT workbook:  pg. 6, #16-19; pg. 7 # 1 and 6; pg. 8 # 7, 10, and 12; pg. 81 # 15-18.  Show any work on the workbook page.

Parents, a purple caoch workbook with sample problems and tutorial sections is available to help with CRCT review.  Also, www.usatestprep.com.

homework:  Complete the worksheet on rotational symmetry, showing work as indidcated.  Also, try to spend 15-20 mins. in CRCT review.  Try to bring in some "proof" or just have a parent sign your agenda to verify your time.

Prepare for the CRCT!  Use the www.usatestprep.com  website or the purple coach workbook.  Parents, your child has the opportunity to check out one of the purple coach workbooks to help prepare for the CRCT.  It has sample problems as well as tutorials and worked-out sample problems.  Ask your child about this valuable resource!

Long-term assignment:  due April 18, Sample Test A (pgs. 91-99) in the white CRCT workbook.  This counts as a quiz grade.  Show all work on the wkbk page!  Omit #3, 19, 59.

homework:  read text pgs. 464-465.  Do red wkbk pg. 74 and the two halves of the "symmetry" titled worksheet.  Also read about rotational symmetry on the backside.

Note to parents:  your student has the opportunity to bring home a "purple coach" workbook to help prepare for the CRCT exam.  Ask them about this.  It is a handy refernce tool, containing both questions and tutorials.

There will be a help session Monday morning.

Go on the website www.usatestprep.com to pactice for the CRCT!  Some of you have taken "purple coach" workbooks home.  Use those!!! 

homework:  study for Monday's test on direct variation, circle graphs, and probability.  Complete the study guide and make sure you look over the direct variation packet and old homework assignments.

homework:  red workbook pg. 105, #1-12; "Oysters" and "girl/boy rock" worksheets.  Write your answers on the worksheets, make sure you solve the puzzles at the bottom.

Log on to:  www.usatestprep.com and do some CRCT practice!

homework:  "Favorite Foods" circle graph and finsih "Favorite Ice Cream" worksheet.  You must write your equations/document your thinking for every problem...just like illustrated during class.  Do this on the worksheet itself.  Show your calculation work in your spiral.
