What a wonderful job everyone did! Book cards were turned in by all but 4 students! I expect those cards tomorrow, then we'll be at 100%! WOW!!!

math 6: the Benchmark Assessment will be tomorrow. for homework finish the "golf" and "quilt" half sheet. show the work in your spiral, and transfer your answers to the worksheet. Don't forget to clean out your math binders and label your worktext.
math 6/7: do worksheet 9-1, #1-24 only. Also complete the "TV show" ws. Show work in your spiral

CLEAN OUT YOUR MATH BINDERS. KEEP OLD WORKSHEETS AND 1ST QUARTER GRADED PAPERS AT HOME. LABEL YOUR WORKTEXT AS DEMONSTRATED IN CLASS. REMOVE ANY LOOSE PAPERS FROM YOUR SPIRAL...DON'T USE YOUR SPIRAL AS A FILING CABINET!

MATH 6: HAD A QUIZ TODAY ON WORD PROBLEMS INVOLVING ADDING AND SUBTRACTING FRACTIONS. HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT IS TO FINISH THE "HIDDEN MESSAGE" WORKSHEET, ON MULTIPLYING MIXED NUMBERS. DO THIS WORK ON THE PAPER ITSELF, OR IN YOUR SPIRAL.
MATH 6/7: TEST TOMORROW! HELP SESSION AT 8:25 AM. HOMEWORK: STUDY!!!! FINISH THE "ART APPRECIATION" WORKSHEET (BOTH SIDES) FOR HOMEWORK. REMEMBER THE CORRECTION TO THE ANSWER KEY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE... TOP ROW 'A' AND 'O' WERE CHANGED.

I was not in today....so here it goes from memory........
the math 6 assignment was to finish a two sided worksheet, on multiplying fractions.
math 6/7: "fraction challenge" is due tomorrow. Also, there was a word problem worksheet, "steer" on one side "doughnut" on the other. Also had an untitled half-sheet of problems. You should have had the entire class period to work on these assignments. There will be a test on Friday.

REPORT CARDS WENT HOME TODAY. PLEASE SIGN AND RETURN. PICTURE RETAKES ARE TOMORROW. RETURN PICTURE PACKAGE WITH A NOTE, OR SEND IN PICTURE MONEY IF YOU WISH TO PURCHASE.

math 6:we had a quiz today on adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. homeowrk: illustrate, as best you can, and solve the word problems on the 'ghost" worksheet (I did # 4 and 7 on the board) and continue and also illustrate and solve # 1,2,3 on the "chop it down" side of the worksheet.
math 6/7: quiz on Monday...all operations involving fractions and mixed numbers. homework: study! also complete the "crack the code" worksheet, showing all work NEATLY in your spiral. Also work out the 5 problems on the half-sheet.

math 6: There is a quiz tomorrow, so study! The quiz will be on adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. For homework, select 6 problems on "maze daze" ws and 6 problems on "martian" ws to do in your spiral.
math 6/7: we worked on multiplying fractions and mixed numbers. For homework, do the "multiplication of three fractions" worksheet (both sides) and the "hidden message" ws. You may show your work on the worksheet itself.
